The Silence Beneath the Lilies explores the quiet space between memory, surrender, and renewal. A solitary figure rests within still water beneath drifting lilies, suspended between the visible world above and the deeper emotional landscape held beneath the surface.
The water becomes a place of reflection and release. What has been carried inwardly—grief, memory, longing, and unspoken emotion—appears to soften in its stillness. Rather than depicting escape, the work considers what happens when we stop resisting what has been felt and allow ourselves to remain present with it.
The lilies introduce a sense of rebirth. Rooted below the surface yet opening toward the light, they become symbols of transformation: beauty emerging from depths that cannot always be seen. Their presence suggests that healing does not require the past to disappear, but can instead change the way we carry it.
