Cosmic Essence explores the relationship between the individual self and the vast, unseen forces that shape existence. The figure appears suspended within a cosmic field, existing somewhere between body, consciousness, and something larger than either.
The work reflects on the idea that identity is not fixed or isolated. We are formed through memory, energy, experience, and connection—constantly changing as we move through the world. The surrounding celestial forms become symbolic of that larger field, suggesting that the boundaries between the inner self and the universe may be more fluid than they appear.
There is both intimacy and scale within the composition. The human figure remains deeply personal, yet she is surrounded by imagery that suggests infinity, creating a tension between vulnerability and vastness. Rather than presenting the cosmos as distant, Cosmic Essence brings it inward, transforming it into a psychological and spiritual landscape.
At its center, the work considers what remains when the external layers of identity fall away. Beneath roles, expectations, memory, and fear is something more elemental—a presence that feels connected to a larger source of consciousness and life.
