Artist Statement

What if the self was never singular, but a spectrum waiting to be seen?

In Prismatic Reverie, the human face becomes a landscape of color, light, and layered identity. Fragments of luminous shapes flow across the surface like shifting thoughts, suggesting that who we are is never fixed but constantly refracted through memory, emotion, and experience.

Each band of color acts like a prism bending light into new possibilities. The overlapping forms symbolize the many versions of ourselves that exist simultaneously—past selves, imagined selves, and the quiet inner self that emerges only in moments of stillness.

With closed eyes, the figure rests in a state between dreaming and awakening, surrendering to the kaleidoscope of inner perception. The vibrant palette reflects the emotional spectrum that lives within every human mind, where joy, conflict, creativity, and transformation coexist.
