Where Grace Leads Her explores the feeling of being quietly guided toward peace by a presence larger than ourselves.

Suspended beneath the surface, the figure appears weightless, surrounded by darkness yet illuminated from above. Her wings suggest protection, surrender, and the possibility of being carried through moments when we no longer know how to move forward on our own. The light becomes a symbol of grace—gentle, unwavering, and deeply loving.

The work centers on the idea that guidance does not always arrive loudly. Sometimes it is felt as a pull toward stillness, an unexpected sense of safety, a moment of clarity, or the quiet reassurance that we are not alone. In that sense, grace becomes less like an answer and more like a hand—something that helps lead us back toward ourselves.

The water represents the emotional depths we move through: memory, fear, exhaustion, and the parts of ourselves that can become difficult to hear beneath the noise of life. Yet within that depth, the figure is not lost. She is being held. Her upward posture suggests trust beginning to return, as if she is allowing herself to be guided toward light rather than fighting against the darkness.
